Parents and Professionals Around The World Deal With FAS And FASD

FASworld  is devoted to the awareness and prevention of FAS and FASD and provides a network of support to and from those personally affected by this disorder.  According to the site, whether the question is how to start a parent support group or how to deal with an uncooperative child with some form of FASD, FASworld can provide help. It is also a valuable resource for  the promotion of  FAS Day as well as local and international events.

We are trying to reconstitute a FASD Parents Support Group. Do you have any written material to provide to other parents who want to know the beneift of a parent support group?

"Guidelines for s Successful Parent Support Group" are available on the FASworld website. From the link for "Support Groups" there is a further link to "Make Your Group Great" and on this link are the Guidelines. Hope this is helpful.
